Our little friend ended up at the vet.
he was to young to cope on his own, and shouldn't of been out during the day.

Look who's come to say hello

this little man has been in the garden since Sunday,
We've been feeding him cucumber apple and chopped ham.

I used a verse written especially for this card
by Janyce Cotterill

When the tree is decorated,
Christmas decoupage
The lights they sparkle and shine,
It's then we think of our loved ones,
Who so quickly come to mind,
We miss them every single day,
So at this special season we want to say;
Although we are so far apart,
You know you're always in our hearts,
On Christmas day we'll raise a glass,
To wish you lasting happiness,
We'll toast our families and those we hold dear,
Then wish you a wonderful Christmas
and a very Happy New Year.

Images and backgrounds from pinterest.
I love black and white cards, and silhouettes seem to be in at the moment, and with strictly back on T.V. a dance image was perfect for this card.

Main image from hobby house.co .uk
I think this is the first time I had made a card in red and pink,
but the images has reds and pinks in it, so added the tiny red boarder to the scalloped background, and boarders.
and added red and pink flowers and ribbons.

I have instructions for these 3 cards,
please get in touch if you would like a set.

Hanging Halloween Decoration,
I found the free Halloween Alphabet on
Granny's enchanted Blog HERE
And the clipart on pinterest,
I cut each letter out and backed it on to orange card,
and re-cut the shape allowing a boarder,
then repeated it on black card,
all the clipart was cut out, them mounted on to contrasting coloured card, to make them stronger, the letters were joined together by sticking them to a strip of card, slightly overlaying the letters.
Then I added the cute clipart, raised on foam pads.

October DT Card for Craft for the Craic

Theme, Something for a child

20 cm White scalloped card.
I used a selection of backgrounds from Payperbox.co.uk
Green polka dot.19cm sq
Pink Gingham 18cm Sq
The lovely image is called JOY and is from, Funkykits.co.uk
and was coloured with promarkers (thanks Cami)(see post further down the page)
Flowers from Wild Orchid crafts.co.uk
Leaves cut on my cricut.

I cut a doily in quarters to make corners and cut the edges from a second doily to create the boarders on each corner.
I used  2 x 4cm Squares of the Green polka dot, cut diagonally
to define the corners. then overlayed the edge of the 2nd doily to hide the join.
and edged each corner with flat backed pearl trim.
I used some lime green ribbon for the loops and tails,
Tutorial HERE
and tiny pink satin ribbon for the bow. HERE
And finished it off with a selection of pink roses.

For the insert, I cut each panel 18cm Sq and layer them onto
19cm Sq light green card.

Dragons Lair DT October

Morning everyone
Here is my Project for
 Dragons Lair DT
October Theme
Anything Goes

I used 2 papers from The Simply lovably collection PK 020
and chose the blue butterfly from the Butterfly sticker collection HERE
I kept this design very simple,
I matted each layer with light pink card.
cut the butterflies 8 times and layered 2 together.
Added a pale pink ribbon band, with blue ribbon threaded through lace, which overlays the ribbon.
And used 2 Crafts Too dies for the flourishes.

I added a Butterfly poem and an Irish blessing to the insert

Here is my card with extra finishes touches
I used a small 3 inch scalloped die, and punched a 2- 1/2 inch circle greeting, added some pretty blue blossom flowers around the boarder, and a few extra blossoms to the flourishes.
